Nicky Maynard

A City player who is on the verge of leaving the club was asked yesterday who would be replacing him. Said he didn't have a clue but he did say that the signing of Nicky Maynard was only days away! Make of that what you will. If this is true can't believe we are interested in Michael Owen.

Nicky Maynard is having talks with Leeds this coming week regarding a loan move that would become permenant if they are promoted this year. He's not coming, neither is Michael Owen who's been very vocal that he will not drop a division.

I highly doubt Blake would of said this, because it would drop him in serious hot water.

I'm sorry I have to correct you, but he did say it. He simple volunteered the information. Maybe he doesn't care because he's leaving.

I don't mean to try and target you, but you haven't said who asked him, or where and when he said this either. I'm not saying you're lying but, you know, I could say Messi told someone today he was coming to Cardiff too.

Huh, looking into this in the last few hours Cardiff became the overwhelming bookies favourite at 1/4 to sign Michael Owen. It's come seemingly completely out of the blue so maybe there is something to this?

But thats exactly what you are saying. To relate my information to Messi saying he's coming to City is totally unnecessary. Reminds me about the attitude of posters on other messageboards. Unfortunately it does you no credit whatsoever.
