I don't mean to brag, but I'm just off into New York City for a spot of breakfast in the cheesecake factory! Then onto a walk through central park to sing imagine!
Just thought I'd share that!
Stay tuned for more " What's bigRED up to" posts!!

Ha ha yeah, I saw those guys going around the place. There were big Greek stilt-walking guys as well. I think there was supposed to be an Olympic theme to it but obviously you can't say 'Olympics' out loud without the Olympic Advertising Committee getting all up in your shit.
Did you get your free loaf of bread and Welsh cakes? I did.

Just got back from playing cricket in Monmouth - the Tonkers versus a Monmouth School scratch team (described as 'mixed ability'). Absolutely fabulous setting for the ground by the river. T20 two innings format, which I feel is the future of cricket. We lost (naturally), but given that our average age was about three times that of the opposition, we don't feel disgraced. Great fun, followed by a couple of pints at the Anchor opposite Tintern Abbey.
"Tintern Abbey!"
"Oh, yes it is!"

Been in the studio (2nd day) recording a 6 track EP at Octagon studios Port Talbot. Picked up a Chinese takeaway on the way back home along with a slab to finish off the day. Logged in for some news , but not much happening?

New York is fab, went in 2000 and 2002, would love to go back
it is indeed the City that never sleeps and constant rush hour!
bit hot and humid in the summer though and those lightning storms and steam rising from the sewers...
Everybody should go at least once if you get the chance just to experience it but its no relaxing holiday.
