Arkay's **MOSTLY OPHISHAL** Weekly Poll Dance - Formation Debation
Page 1 of 1 • Share
What formation do you think Malky's McMethods (tm) will most likely employ?
Given that we now we have some idea of the kind of players and potential style that Malky is going for and there has been much debate over it, what do you think will be the most likely formation for us to play next season?
Please do bear in mind that whatever we choose will be correct and Malky will be wrong - even if it is the same formation. That is the God-given-right of the armchair fan.

100% opting for the Swansea option then so far...when we played them under the rigid Jones 442 we simply had no answer for it...
If I remember rightly, when we played theym at CCS we tried 433 and lost 1-0 to Emnes goal. We then played 442 at the Liberty later on that season and we outplayed them and won 1-0. Funny old game init.

Hey, if Valley Trash gets his own tactic how come I'm not mentioned with the 4-5-1 to 4-3-3, and redistheway isn't mentioned with the diamond? We demand representation! (even though neither of us can really claim we 'invented it' in any way...)

In that case, I demand 3-5-2.

I stand corrected! my statement should sound right in my head. have some flair points
Oh ruddy hell! What have I started here?
In fairness Gents, your debates and suggestions were actually sensible, practical and more commonplace in football formations debates. I'm sure we can all name a few teams who have used similar systems.
I merely picked on Valley Trash as clearly his suggestion, while imaginative ad perhaps unique to City, might be trickier to implement especially as I believe the FA might clamp down on the insertion of 40ft metal poles into our players rectums.
I am, of course, very happy to make you guys individual scapegoats if Malky chooses one of your formations and we have a TERRIBLE run of results.

Pssht, show me the thread where you spent five minutes writing names in a specific pattern

I suggest the ultra offensive option would be to recruit a team of Tourette's sufferers, wearing Mankinis, 'high' on Viagra and play them in a flying V formation.... I am also pleased with my 'ultra offensive' tag but 'ultra drunk and disorderly' may be more fitting
