According to warnock, what got me was this quote:

I'm prob reading to much into the quote
In other words the board says no more money for transfers use what u have available?

If he's happy to be a squad then let's hang on to him. I'd say he was very much a Warnock-type player anyway.

He's stated that he is reluctant to sell because we are say thin on the ground. Thing is, I can't see us bringing in anyone better who is 'happy' to sit on the bench for 90% of the season.

....but if the player wants first team football, there are plenty of teams that would have him.
