Russell Slade: David Marshall will stay at Cardiff
30/08/2015
Sky Sports
Cardiff manager Russell Slade heaped praise on David Marshall after seeing the goalkeeper play a heroic role in Saturday's 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest - and pledged that he was going nowhere.
West Brom are understood to have had a £5m bid for Marshall rejected, and he demonstrated his value with some vital saves at the City Ground.
A 23rd-minute goal from Kenwyne Jones and another from Joe Mason four minutes after the break put the visitors in control. But Marshall had also had to deny Tyler Walker twice and Michail Antonio once, with important stops, before finally having his resistance broken in the 86th minute, after Antonio had darted clear.
-----------
So I fully expect us to sell him on deadline day

One thing's for sure, WBA need another keeper, as cover at least. They could rely on getting an emergency loan, but would they want to do that?
