Looks to be our new manager, after club officials have approached him, acc to Walesonline,
I don't know much about this chap except he's on verge of getting sacked from leyton orient, oh and betting has been suspended,
Anyone have anything positive to say about this bloke cos I can't see us finishing anywhere above 10th place this season,

He was league one manager of the year last year and likes to play attacking football?

Guys, I was being sarcastic!
Seriously though, this guy once turned down West Brom because he wanted to carry on what he had started at Orient. Why the hell would joining a club that's in as much of a shambles as ours suddenly be more tempting?

I know - let's go for a big name manager. I think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is available

Don't be ridiculous. Why would we risk Solskjaer again when Malky MacKay is available?

We won't get Malky. He's been installed this morning as heavy favourite for the Fulham job.........

Andy Legg feels Slade should be given a chance if appointed and I agree. There's an obsession with names and the same expensive failures are immediately put forward every time there is a vacancy (Pulis excluded although he would be expensive).
There's a lot going on outside the top two divisions which goes completely unnoticed because it's not fashionable and perhaps it's time somebody like Slade with a consistent record of turning clubs' fortunes around should have a chance.

Rational and reasonable comment. Are you feeling unwell?

I'm on sunbed in Cyprus drinking beer and the heat and alcohol appears to have made me rational.
