If there are three repayment options on the table why not take one?

The sceptic in me thinks they are trying to hang on as long as they can in order to attempt to shift a portion of debt to equity (or purchase equity) should the Malaysians turn the ship around so they once again have an interest in the business.

The Malaysians see this possibility and want them out of contention before they take control of the club and look to take a debt/equity switch (protecting their investment).

Why not just pay the £15m though? I dont get it. If that is the debt owed then pay it, be done with it and move on.

£9m with an additional £3m and another £3m. Thats fine by me because it gets debt away from the club. Its moving forward.

Vincent Tan needs to just get it done with and wipe his hands with Sam who'll continue to stretch the goal posts the longer it drags on.

I don't suppose the Malaysians are complaining with their 7% interest on loans, that should cover the Langston debt!
