Bit of a shame if he goes. Still young and has never been given a run of games to prove himself.

Sad if true, but Ive always seen him as a squad player good at plugging a hole. I just don't think he's good enough to hold down a starting place.
I would much rather that we sent him out on loan for a season to get some regular football.

If this is the case then a new full back has to be a priority. Anybody know on any decent prospects?

Sell him with a low buy-back clause.
I reckon with two or three full seasons of play he'll be terrific

Great shame if Darcy goes but he wants regular football and i think he's always going to be a squad player with us because possibly his versatility works against him?

Based on McNaughton's poor performances last year I think that Darcy has more to offer overall

In slightly unrelated news, anyone else remember Malky saying no one would be sold from the squad this season? We're staring at first team (or bench) player number three leaving now. I'm not complaining, I'm just aware it means our squad has in reality only grown by two or three members. If we start getting tired again like last year some major gaps could become exploited again.
