In Ole's ability?
Got serious reservations in his chances of succeeding.

He deserves full season he inherited s**t his own players being brought in so thats why he deserves a chance, I have reservations about us going up automatically though, playoffs at best, I do worry if we aren't top or thereabouts by xmas tan may say cheerio to ole
I'm willing to give him a decent chance - if we are 12th of lower by christmas then perhaps it's time for him to move on.
But otherwise, let's give him a chance to build - there were moments, albeit very flashing, last season of tactical brilliance.
Although we didn't get results, I personally much prefer Ole's attacking 'brand' of football and I want to see him given the chance to develop it a bit.

Just a feeling outside the top 12 by around Christmas and as normal with one team a late run will see Cardiff make the play Off's. Sadly not sure whether it will be OGS in charge or not

I definitely have my doubts about him which will only go away by him proving himself. If he can find a defensive ability to his management style to add to his naturally attacking sensabilities then he could do well and it could be entertaining.
I am in the camp of preferring a solid 1-0 or 2-0 win to a 3-3 thriller though. For me it is results first then entertainment second though i understand why others may happily choose them the other way around.

As long as we get 3pts I couldn't care how exciting/boring the game is

Yes. We need to give him time.

I started writing a reply, then realised it was pretty much identical to this!

I'm with Tache on this. It's all about 3 points. Going home after a low scoring win feels better than losing a thrilling game if it's happening regularly. I wasn't a Malky fan because it often seemed to be 1 point at best in a lot of games.
I'm writing this and realising that although I'd love to see attacking football my thoughts are probably the same as Toast & Gloves as well.

All very well, but question is not really answered, do you have confidence in Ole's ability?

I don't think he is the man for the job, as I still think he is too inexperienced. He had a tough job last year but at least he could always fall back on blaming Malky if he failed (many fans seem to want to do that already). This season, if we fail to go back up again he doesn't have anywhere to hide.
He showed zero tactical ability last season, that's my major concern. It's all well and good making attacking football your ethos but good managers have to work with what they have - its no good trying to make accrington Stanley pass it around like Barcelona. Instead of creating a middle ground where he could begin to implement his philosophy while still deploying the teams strengths, he just got the hammer out and got to work on sticking that square peg in a round hole, and that is teason I believe we went down with such little fight.
