Jo Inge Berget is alleged to have arrived at Heathrow today.
He has the same agent as OGS, Arthur Daehli, and the Wolffman.

Solbakken is making a few quid this window

Wow didnt see it was a thread for it. I am worried. As you all might know the gap between BPL and Norwegian PL is quite large. I don't know if he is desperate or actually thinks Berget has the proper level. Really really scary with him signing even more Solbakken players. As I mentioned before this link is not good at all.

I can only presume that OGS knows the system he wants to play and fit in players he has confidence in. I'm guessing this one isn't going to break the bank, but, at worst, may offer some variety to what we already have.

Hate to mention it, but he may also be getting in players that will be needed for a Championship campaign if it does all go wrong.

 

Clearly has some potential as Udinese had him on their books but it didn't work out. Is this a panic buy as no-one else is available?

Anymore molde signings and I'll be deeply, deeply concerned. Malky may not of made the best signings, but at least his didn't stink of a hidden agenda...

Malky tied up around £23m in Cornelius.

Solskjaer could be paying less on numerous players.

1. Eikrem
2. Daehli
3. Berget
4. Ramis
5. Zaha

Both of what I've seen in Eikrem and Daehli eclipses anything Cornelius has done. Also, Manchester United fans are livid that they've been let go and a lot rate Daehli more highly than Januzaj. Ramis is a gamble but one that needs to be taken after Malky failed to bring in a partner for Caulker. Zaha is much needed and will be fine at this level. Berget is again the only real risk but again has better control and a better touch than Cornelius and is more agile and a much better passer. He also sits deeper so would be perfect if we were to play the 4-3-3 with a false number 9 with Zaha left and Noone right of him.

If Solskjaer pulls off all of them I'll be happy. The more players who understand Ole's philosophy the quicker others will adapt and pick it up. Its exactly the same reason Rodgers took Allen to Liverpool with him. He understood the philosophy perfectly and he needed that type of player in there to help the transition take place quicker.

Theres no way Solskjaer is going to get players like Cornelius, Gunnarsson or Turner going through that transition. None of them are good enough passers or confident enough on the ball to play the free flowing football he likes.

My old username was Bluebird Dæhli. Now I have the username I use on most forums. It makes it easier to remember things once I've cleared the browser cache and have to log in again.
