First topic message reminder :

Posted this on the other board as well, but could start a decent discussion...

The debate of 'best player in the world' always ends up being an argument between two players: Ronaldo & Messi.

So who for you is the best behind these two?

Neymar is probably overrated IMO I read a lot on Twitter from foreign football reporters that he's quite overrated, Still young though so one one day he may even become the best in the world but still has a lot to prove. We'll see what he does on the big stage in 2014 and in Europe after that.

I watched him play in the recent Copa Liberaterdores Semi-Final, and I thought exactly the same but only fair to give him a chance. Be quite unfair to judge him on one game.

Neymars talent is fantastic, but I couldn't see him being good in a different league.

Neymar is still be to tested but I think he has the ability to be way up there in terms of greatest player.

It remains to see whether he will be like Messi or Robinho. Check out some of the goals he has scored on youtube though, some of them are scary!
