This article (Link) recommends heavy changes to the starting lineup against Stoke. The most divisive would probably be the dropping of Frazier Campbell, who has been in fine form the last two games. He does however have a point that Campbell might struggle against Stokes more physical defence.
His line up is as follows -
Marshall
KTC, Turner, Caulker, Taylor
Medel
Whittingham, Mutch
Noone, Cornelius, Kim
I imagine that would make people bemoaning the defensive tactics sit up and take note, with the more defensive Cowie and Whittingham being replaced on the wings by two players who love to take their man on. Cornelius also has a chance to demonstrate the strength he's famed for. I agree wholeheartedly with this approach but would also consider Campbell to act as an impact sub - if he could avoid a battering and use his pace to get behind them, which he did so well against United, he could significantly improve his tally.
