My favourite conferences of the year!
Microsoft conference - 5pm
EA - 8:20 Pm
Ubisoft - 10:40 pm
Sony - 1:20 am
It's sony's conference that I wanted to see the most... going to have to wait until tomorrow now I guess.

Blue Square conference should see plenty of action in a few months.

To be honest thats about what was expected. 300 pounds was the figure touted by those in the know, and the bundled kinect sensor was also expected to bump the price up another ton. Expensive, but fair in my opinion.
Thank god I didnt cancel my preorder, I could'nt be happier. Microsoft landed a haymaker in swiping Metal Gear Solid V from Sony, and they've also nicked Dead Rising and made it Xbox only. Project Spark looks absolutely amazing and Ryse looks epic as well.
Well done Microsoft. Its a shame you couldnt get the job done on the first attempt, but the second time isnt bad either.
EDIT: Also just realised something. The sony fans going crazy about the price tag are casually forgetting one thing - The PS3 cost £425 on it's release, and that was nearly ten years ago. Is apparently the gap between 425 and 429 too much, or are they just targeting everything they can?

Haha Rhys, Im guessing you were reading the same CNET article I was. Spotted your comment
Lol,
It just bugs me that we paying an extra 100 pounds on the Americans and fit no good reason. If it was that price across the board then fair enough, but it's not.
Must admit, project spark and ryse looked amazing

Its more expensive here because of tax and import duty. Blame our government, no one else. Also I changed name of thread Rhys to keep everything E3 related in here to keep discussion about games live. Hope you dont mind.

I think i'm going to stay up for the sony conference - might as well.
Cheers for the info Rhys. I've just checked my student loan budget etc. and I might have enough when it launches here anyway. Probably wait for Christmas for the bundles or Jan sales after exams.
Yeah im waiting for Sony's. I'll probably still go Xbox One though. Got a Gamerscore to maintain.

Xbox is console locked, PS3 isn't. Neither here nor their for me though.
Minds made up once more for me - I'm in the Xbox One camp. The 100 quid difference doesn't make much difference to me, and the biggest lunch of the night is Microsoft gets Metal Gear. They may have damaged some fans faith, but you can't deny that all the major publishers are now going to prefer the Xbox over the PS4, because its going to make them more money. That means exclusives, I'm sure of it.
Final point though - remember the Sony fans critiscising the Xbox One for being box shaped? They've all gone very quiet now that the PS4 is to be revealed to ACTUALLY be a big black box.
