There's talk on the other boards about a KCB? protest today. First I've heard of it.
I've seen reference to a bunch of pissed 50 year olds whereas somebody on twitter said it was a bunch of kids who've probably only seen modern football protesting against modern football!
Quite a few critical comments on twitter and a few well comes on CCMB.
All very familiar.

Fair play to them but I don't think they're making too many waves. 300 is an ok turn out from people "as far as Gloucester" but at least they are standing up for what they believe in.
I don't think Tan will give a tupenny s**t either way though.

Yes, I saw that talked about a few days ago - talk about having a few drinks outside the castle and generally making a protest. I presume they're trying to make a point to the public in general, but if they start drinking it's difficult to see how they're going to win hearts and minds.....especially if they have banners reading 'f**k modern football', which was being suggested at one point.

They certainly get my vote...

apart from a few oldies they are just kids
To be fair, it was originally set up as another sort of get together after the success of the end of season parade. Was more a celebration of blue than a protest... then they went and bought a "f**k modern football" banner and changed the whole direction of the day essentially.

I wonder when exactly 'modern football' started for these people. As I've heard some of you on here say before, football changes vastly decade by decade, quite often making many fans want to point out its gotten worse. For example, is 'traditional' football from the 90's? In the 90's they were probably complaining how the game should be more like it was in the 70's. And in the 70's they were probably also complaining. Is a return to cavemen kicking stones at each other without any real rules, scoring system or even purpose? That's the only tre traditional football, isn't it?
I also stand by my point that anyone under the age of thirty who's carrying this banners is clearly deluded, it's all they've ever known. Actually, if you're under thirty you're just an idiot. If you're under 20, you're mentally retarded.

Agreed. Everyone loves a good bandwagon.

This applies even if you're not carrying a banner or on a protest.

I'm too young to dislike modern football then. ( not that I actually do, I quite like it)
