It appears that Sky and the BBC will be filming the 'march' on Saturday thereby giving the oxygen of publicity to something which may well prove to be counter productive. My view is that this will overshadow the game and, even if we get a decent result, it will take second place in the media. I also doubt if it will have any effect on Vinnie.
If they want to protest, they have months to do it in the close season when it hopefully wouldn't affect the team but that wouldn't fit in with certain people's craving for the limelight or the stupidity of some of those following them.

I agree, not very helpful thing to do in my opinion. We just need to focus on the football - at least until the end of the season for goodness sake. But the press can't help themselves -it'll make a good story for everyone else.
I absolutely agree with both of you and I have to say, I'm a bit annoyed about it. Up until now, I've not been all that bothered by the protests as they were something of a sideshow to the football - which is the most important thing.
The timing of this though is stupid, really stupid. Just when the team need as much support and focus as possible for a crucial run-in these fans are creating the headlines and causing more unrest and discord that the team and players can't help but notice.
We don't half like to make it hard for ourselves - typical Cardiff City

There is a rational behind the timing - it's designed to attract as much media attention as possible while Hull have created the opportunity.
Its still stupid and shouldn't be happening, but it's not mindless.
