"We received advice from the local police last night that the club has banned any protest at all from their land and anybody doing so will be moved on.
In the light of this and the previous threats of violence against protesters from prominent supporters of the club's rebrand we feel duty bound to cancel the planned protest scheduled for 6:45pm outside the main entrance to the stadium.
We urge all those who care about the club's identity and believe it is more important than the whims of one man to make their views known tomorrow night

The 'big' figures in the KCB have already started using this as firepower. Dudders has done the usual inventing half the story job, and decided the club want to ban all KCB members and actively supports the ones that threatened to physically assault anyone that protested.
I don't feel this is the club stamping out KCB, I see it simply as not wanting large scale protests disrupting match days for fans that want to watch the match. There's been nothing announced to ban people for supporting the movement, they just don't want to risk flares and the like interrupting games.
