God I hope that's wrong or the price is beaten down. On the universal scale of transfers, is he really worth 3.5 michu's? They raise a good point that its a hell of a lot of money for a striker with only 3 goals in 25 appearances this season.

Alias Smith & Jones, which predated Alas Smith & Jones was an excellent Western series with Ben Murphy & Pete Duell, later replaced by the programme's narrator Rodger Davis.......who strangely spelled his name the same way as the Glamorgan opening batsman of the time.
The Glamorgan opening batsman spelt his surname the same, but lacked the unusual 'd' in his first name. He was a brilliant close fielder, and I remember seeing him almost get killed once by taking a full blooded shot to the head at short leg. No helmets in those days.
Sat next to Roger a few times down the City and he was in the group I went to the play off final with. A big City fan until he became very disillusioned with Dave Jones and stopped going. Good bloke.
