Two Rumours Today

First topic message reminder :

Mackie is a decent hard working player but does he score enough and Phillips seems to have gone off this season.

Not convinced that those mentioned (less Remy, Odemwingie and possibly Brown) are premiership standard. Taraabt seems to run too hot and cold and there's a temperament/team player issue surrounding him that Malky probably wouldn't go for. Hopefully, he has got others who are better in the back of his mind (I'm sure he has). I've noted on another forum that Norwich fans don't think Barnett is up to standard for the Prem either, which I thought was interesting as he barely put a foot wrong for us and what does that say about some of our other defenders?

I'd only want the very best from the championship. Jordan Rhodes, Nathan Redmond, maybe a swoop for Wes Brown if Leicester fail to reach the playoffs. Beyond that, I think we should look elsewhere.

Barnett was imperious in the air, but a bit of a donkey on the ground. I think much more threat will come from the more agile, pacy strikers in the Premier League than anything we had to deal with in the Championship.

I did indeed, but to be fair my subconscious has good taste in defenders, Wes Brown would be a great signing too

I always liked Wes Brown, but so injury prone........
