1) Twitter says we will be offering Carlton Cole a contract.
2) The Sun says will bid £3.5m for Danny Graham.
3) Sources at Stoke say Mark Hughes would be a perfect fit as manager - I thought they wanted to get away from boring, negative football? Anyway, Micky Thomas thinks he would be perfect so we can probably discount 'Sparky' (it would be difficult to find anybody less sparky!).

Rumours circulating that Whitts is potentially leaving. Sky sports have reported Malky has denied he is for sale, but in the world of football that means very little.
Poses an interesting predicament though. Peter Whittingham on form is like a god among mortals, but off form a one legged donkey dragging himself around the pitch could probably pass the ball better. He also, the last two seasons in particular, seems to be spending increasingly more time off form than he is on form. Would anyone consider replacing him with another midfield playmaker who is much more consistent?
Oh and, Carlton Cole on a free would be a steal as long as his wages aren't extreme. I'd still like to see us go one better though.

Malky's response to the Echo fan survey questions (see other thread) includes a categorical statement that Whitts is staying, and that Malky believes he has a big part to play for City in the PL.Red614 wrote:Rumours circulating that Whitts is potentially leaving. There's no such thing as not for sale. What it actually means is 'not unless you really splash out'. A dramatised reaction, but do you still think Malky would refuse to sell of someone offered thirty million? If the answer is no, then so much for 'not for sale'...

All right then, not for sale for realistic offers. No-one's going to offer 30 million.Red614 wrote:The Tonker wrote:Malky's response to the Echo fan survey questions (see other thread) includes a categorical statement that Whitts is staying, and that Malky believes he has a big part to play for City in the PL.Red614 wrote:Rumours circulating that Whitts is potentially leaving.
