Very much as with the Player or Manager of the Month "awards", someone from Cardiff will get a look in only if there are no other possbile candidates.
City have run away with the division this year, but to the outsider we are a team without stars.
That said, Hudson deserves his place, but Whitts, I'm afraid, is there on reputation only and as grudging acknowledgement to the fine season City have had. Gunnarsson was streets ahead of him in terms of consistency this year and how Marshall is not there, God only knows......

The votes are submitted in February I believe, so omit a substantial portion of the season and won't reflect latest form.
