He's a regular starter for a Champions League team; I just can't see it happening.

Exactly and he's hit form and given him a new contract. If anyone is returning it's more likely to be Adam Matthews (I wish)

we would be spending most of vt's reported £25m on one player as i think he would cost too much

I personally back the opinion that its simply unlikely, not impossible. He is indeed a regular starter for Arsenal this season but that's more by lack of other options - Wilshere is still favoured but has spent most the season injured and Diaby would also start over Ramsey if only he wasnt an injury magnet.
Arsenal have not only had their now trademark defensive woes but they've struggled to retain the ball in centre midfield at times. If Wenger agrees with myself and other critics, he'll be investing heavily there over the summer. Two new quality centre midfielders and Wilshere and Diaby in finess doesn't bode well for Ramsey, in my opinion.
Don't get me wrong he's a brilliant player, but he's not champions league quality.

Have you spoken to him, then..........
Preparing myself for universal disagreement here but I don't think he is that good and is highly overrated. imo, Kimbo is a lot more talented than Ramsey. That's not to say I wouldn't want to see him line up next to kimbo. But for the transfer fee and wages he will take? No thanks.

On another matter, I wonder how difficult it will be to hang onto Kimbo next season? I can see one of the big guns moving for him, maybe as early as this summer.........

You can count his truly impressive appearances on your hands and still have fingers left, a handful of very good appearances isn't enough to convince anyone just yet. They'll bide their time, maybe moving in January if he remains as impressive or if not crossing their fingers that we suffer relegation then moving to steal him on the cheap.
I think he's good enough for the top teams don't get me wrong - but a scout that makes a big move for him after only 26 appearances in British football is a very stupid one indeed.

I think you're right, but just wondering, Ramsey was bought by Arsenal and also wanted by Man U on the basis of very few appearances.Red614 wrote:TDA wrote:On another matter, I wonder how difficult it will be to hang onto Kimbo next season?
