First topic message reminder :
For all Tan's hard work in promoting us in Malaysia, did you know that the country's population is only 29 million? That's two thirds the size of England. Not small by any means but I wonder if this Malaysian push by Tan is more about a patriotic national promoting his country rather developing a wider regional awareness of the club. I don't know enough about Asian culture to know of how buddy like those countries are. Does cracking Malaysia = cracking Asia?
Whilst looking at population numbers, I was surprised to find that the latest figures for the whole of Wales is 3 million.. with only 324,000 living in Cardiff. Comparing the city to Bristol, they have 428,000. Ashton gate is not exactly brimming with people.

Welsh Government 2011 stats:
Cardiff 345,400
Vale of Glam 126,700
Rhondda-C-T 234,400
Caerphilly 178,800
Merthyr 58,900
-------------------------------
Total 944,200
So, near as dammit, 1 million.
Which excludes anything we might draw from Newport, Monmouthshire (including glorious Chepstow) and Bridgend.
