It appears this is genuinely happening. They have a 200 follower strong twitter account and are applying for entry into the non league ladder.
The name. The name. The name. It gives me far more embarrassment to know we're going to be linked to causing that then anything Tan has done or potentially ever could do.

Well they only need £2,000 to start and theoretically could join at level 10 on the pyramid if they had good financial support.
I don't have a problem with this and in truth, it may keep the KCB lot who wish to spoil the club, away from the ground

I agree with that Red. Good luck to them but I've been involved with a club at Welsh Premier level and below and to achieve success costs an incredible amount of money even at that level.Red614 wrote:True, if it means we all get called plastics less often that can only be a good thing.
A good current example is Pontypridd who have had a big budget and nice ground for a few years and can't get out of the 3rd division of the Welsh league.

Well they rarely get far, the only success story is AFC Wimbledon. FC United Manchester have reached a plateau in the lower leagues but still have a better following than AFC Bluebells of Glamorgan could probably manage and as Cyncoed said, it costs a lot of money if you want to get anywhere. A lot.

Last point: how much of a City fan are you, if you are prepared to turn your back on the club and make your own?
If they find it that heinous to change colours etc surely they are die hard Cardiff City fans and could never support another team...yet they are prepared to do exactly that.
So who is the plastic? The dinosaurs that refuse to accept change that could prolong the life of the club and promote success or the ones that throw their toys out of the pram, walk away from the club and make their own that conforms only to THEIR rules?

Fairs fair you can what you like about Prince Vince but he does rock the high waist trouser, tucked in football shirt, business shirt and collar and jacket combo extraordinarily well... very much the dapper nutjob about town....

Good luck to them but what happens if they get their other wish and we crash all the way back down to League 2?
