Millwall & Palace
Imo these are the type of games that Kimbo and Velikonja should be getting a runout, we have 2 talents in Smith and Helguson that are not 25 anymore and could do with a midweek rest if we are to get the best out of them.
Malky said last season its not who you beat but how many that will decide our fate so Im really interested to see how he plays this becasue we need a result in both.
Kimbo and Velikonja cost us over 3.5 mil and they are both on a very good wage aswell so for me this is the time for them to get to know this league against the so called lesser teams.
Anyone with a diffrent view?

I agree 100%. This is what having a good squad and strength in depth is all about.
I have a feeling Malky might switch to a 4-5-1 for away game anyway, but we shall see.

I don't reckon Noone will start against Millwall, from what I've seen he tends to run himself ragged so he might be in need of a rest Tuesday. Hopefully that means Kimbo will make his debut, why you can't argue with results thus far in disappointed we are yet to see him.
I completely agree with Velikonja. He would be a big injection of pace into our striking team that im also surprised we haven't already seen utilised more efficiently late into a game. Maynard has proven how difficult he is for defenders to deal with, and I reckon swapping him with Velikonja midway through the second half of any match could make his pace a real problem.
Preferably, I would start Velikonja and Helguson, and then like to see Mason make an appearance as a sub.
These two games are important though, as they are against sides we definetely should be better than. Past them we're looking at a difficult stage that includes Blackpool, Bolton ad Nottingham forest, all matches a point would be a good result from.

Just checked out the Millwall forum & tobe fair they seem quite optimistic.
The last post is the best from seanccfc "are you all pissed 1-6 cardiff "

Really? Assuming CCFC is Cardiff and not Coventry, one of our fans has to attempt to troll Millwall? Swansea city fair enough, same with Bristol, but Millwall?
