Worryingly, I'm looking at that and my mind is going 'win, win, win, at least a draw, win'...
Heart says 12, maybe. 13
Head will play safe and say Bolton will be tough, Watford can be dangerous and Forest can be tricky for us. 10.

i was the same... but tbh there is no reason why we cant get maximum points from the 5.. and if we do (i really fancy us as champions) after 10 games we r lookin gd BUT 2006/07 season was a better start After 10 games in 2006 we were top on 23 points one more than now. We won our next two games, topped the league on 29 points a massive SIX ahead of the next team.
We then went on a 13 game run without a win between 11 Novemebr and 17 January. We lost 7 of out last 8 games of the season and drew the other.
We finished 13th, what an awful season after such an amazing start.

[right] City's potential knows no bounds... They could easily defy the laws of physics and get 17 points IMO

Agree there's no reason we can't get max points from the 5, I certainly think we're capable of it. But like Red614's head, I don't think we will. Put it down to 45 years of following the City!Vinnie Tans Tache wrote:Red614 wrote:Worryingly, I'm looking at that and my mind is going 'win, win, win, at least a draw, win'...

Re 2006/07, the difference then was our squad lacked the in-depth quality we have now. If we'd lost our (potentially) most potent striker after a few games back then, there's no way we'd have been 6 pts clear at the top in mid-October.
