If you could make up a new football rule, what would be?

This is inspired by Devil Advocate's comment on another thread. I'm developing his idea/joke.
3 extra points for winning 5 games in a row
3 points taken away for losing 5 in a row
This would take teams go for it a bit more if they they are going to lose some precious points, add a bit excitement for the fans too. The 20/20 of the football world

if a referee makes a sending off - but the club appeal the decision and it is sucessful the ref gets suspended for 3 games!

Once this thread had run its course, we could type it up and send it off to the FA - see if we get a response.

You can't start penalising referees for making potentially honest mistakes. If you do before long players will be able to get away with murder because the referee doesn't want to risk getting it wrong and getting suspended.
I'd offer an alteration on the same thing. In a time when we're all so obsessed with referees never making mistakes, why don't we finally install a fail safe in the form of a video referee. He wouldn't enforce the whole match, he'd just be available if the referee is unsure on what happened in a key point in a match. How fast can you all rewind a penalty claim on Sky+ boxes? It takes seconds at most, so it won't disrupt a game at all.
I would then penalise referees that make bad decisions if they chose not to use the video evidence. It could fix so much of the game it's silly.

8 players on the bench and 4 subs allowed to come on.
Also refs have to give a interview after the game.

Get rid of pens and just have continuous extra time with multi ball. Every 3 minutes of extra time an extra ball gets added.

I would have the two extra offcials we see in European football universally introduced. There is too much to be gained from cheating in the opposition penalty area. We saw the master of the art up to his trickes again today-every long ball into our box saw one of secondry defenders fouled while the ref was watching the players who would be directly contesting the ball.

Along these lines, I'd like to see the 10 yard rule for backchat/dissent adopted, as in rugby........it is so simple and it works.......
I'll always trot this one out on these threads, but I'd like to see a mandatory yellow card for holding a shirt. If the ref is in doubt about who is holding who, say at a corner, then book both players.
