We need 23 year old players, not 33

Some older players isn't a bad thing. Yes youth is obviously the future, but some experienced heads, especially championship experienced, could definetely be just what we need. Arsenal are THE youth ethos team, but they struggled so because they lacked any proper, experienced, leadership.

We need what works, Malky's strategy is tough to fathom out right now but only time will tell whether he has a winning long game this season, just gotta trust the big fella and enjoy the ride

As long as Bothroyd isn't one of them I'm not too worried. 4/6 is promotion form. Don't know what people are complaining about.

OMG lets sign another midfielder. How long before Malky starts playing 3-7-0?

Would you prefer Cowie playing right wing all season long?

I would prefer it if we bought a proper striker who can score 20+ goals a season

I still feel Helguson, Velikonja and Mason are all capable of doing that given the correct supply, which they're not are the moment. Besides if we keep with our one striker play style, which I still feel is best it just needs to be heavily modified, we have four players on one position. In the wings, we only have two first team quality players capable of playing on the sides. And thats when Kim shows up, and IF you count Cowie. Right now we have Conway and Bellamy, that's really it.

i reckon 1 more signing should do it... and on paper we have a championship winning side....its weather or not we will struggle... i doubt it myself as malky will have selection headaches for all positions! and thats not a bad problem 2 have,,,,

I think our biggest problem is that we lack a bit of unpredictability. We're kinda similar to qpr under warnock but without taraabt! Maybe kim can be our taraabt, i hope so.
I dont why but malky seems to really shy away from players with explosive pace and unpredictability (apart from maybe bellamy)

I agree. I'm trying to figure out what malky is trying to do but i'm finding it hard to understand. I know he says he likes to be flexible and play the team in front of him but there seems to be a huge difference between our back 4 (or at least 3 of them) and our midfield. In midfield he looks for neat players who are comfotable on the ball and retain possession but our defenders (excluding taylor) are hardly what i would call ball playing defenders. To me it seems pointless having a ball playing midfield if they are gonna be missed out like friday!
