Anyone got any info on this guy? After watching us on Friday I'm assuming Malkay is looking for centre backs with a bit of technique, seeing as we look like we are going to try passing teams to death in future. I noticed on wikipedia (the centre for truth) that he's got a lot of appearances for QPR so I'm assuming he's decent?

There's a fair bit about him on the other forums, but I think he can also play full back, so he could be an ideal signing.

Yeah, Sky Sports reported he's perfectly comfortable in any of the back 4 positions, so he's ideal since our defensive problems are kind of all over the pitch. He's a good, solid defender. He's not really a profilific corner/free kick danger man, he's only got 5 goals to his name since 2004. He trained with Arsenal in his youth but didn't quite cut the mustard there, but he's still a very solid defender. Appeared in the Reading side but wasn't regular, but that's more due to Reading's strength than anything to do with his personal ability.
