Michael Owen

Has gone to Stoke, as it is very close to his stables. Shame really, Stoke won't suit his style and he could've played regularly at Saints or someone like that.

I suppose there isn't much point in making a career choice, he was finished as a footballer 5 years ago. In his prime he was brilliant, but made horrible career choices ( Real Madrid to Newcastle ffs ).

Its a shame really. He could have been one of Englands all time greats but bad club moves meant he lost out at international level rather early on in his career. Another player who could have done more with his career.

Yeah, his infamous hamstrings obviously played a part, but a bit of a waste. Fearsome in the early 2000s.

He's an egotistical idiot. I can't stand the guy personally. He used to be a mellow, humble person but since his move to Madrid he's been on a war path trying to become the biggest idiot in the UK.
