am i the only one who thinks adding an extra 8,000 or so seats isn't a good idea? we average around 22,000-23,000 every home game, and we just about sell out for the big matches! I just feel that even if we do make it to the premier league that we'd be lucky to get 30,000 for the 'smaller' prem sides

I know what you mean...but I have always thought that the css looked kinda small...not very 'big club' with just one tier.....
I personally would like to see an extra tier, even if we don't fill it!

There's nothing worse than having empty seats at home games! Like that corner between the canton and ninian for the past 3 seasons, fair enough against the likes of man city etc seeing 35,000 fans watching Cardiff would be immense, but for the likes of wigan i can see us struggling to reach 30,000 (which is still a very good attendance, it just wont look that way)!
Would be amazed if they go through with the idea if we fail to gain promotion this season

To be fair - Saint Mary's did look absolutely ridiculous 75% empty or whatever it was last season - you're right it would be embarrassing for the club - maybe they can just draw up the plans, get permission etc and have it ready to turn when we need it in the future

I would love the stadium blocks on the outside to be red and blue and then lit up with led's underneath very much like the Allianz Arena. This would look amazing but would probably cost a bit to implement. However, if we do make it into the Premiership it'll be one of the most beautiful stadiums in the top flight to see on a Monday night football game.
