First topic message reminder :
the milkman has disapeared off our estate because of the local superstore.
when i was a kid we used to camp out in the summer(yes there were summers back then) and we would go around the estate after the milkman pinching milk, orange juice and eggs for our breakfast.

Racism. Used to see it a lot back in the day but now no one is racist, thankfully.

We used to have a French onion seller come up our road when I was a kid - my dad could speak some French as he studied it at uni, so he would come in and have a French chat over a coffee.
We also had a pop man come by every week, but this was Llandaff so it was the corona man.

I used to like Alpine Pop. I definitely would rather that than that cheap cola that is already flat before it even hits the shelves. Alpine Pop van day was the biggest event of the week around here.
I remember we'd always have pop left over at the end of each week because there was a few flavours no one liked. In the end though people would drink it because the only other thing on offer was water.
Its a shame they dont deliver pop anymore. I think the UK needs more types of these services and less Tesco, Asda etc.

Do kids nowadays still make flamethrowers using aerosols?
Even better if there's a wasps nest to try it out on.
Oh, those childhood japes.
Balaclava wearers and pipe smokers are a rarity as well nowadays (not both at the same time I hasten to add).

In my school if you wore a bandana there would have been a very good chance you'd have got stabbed.
