It appears that Brendan would like to keep hold of Bellamy.

Do you think that ends the speculation or a return?

I personally think it's not dead in the water yet.

- I'm wandering if Bellamy will still have a few questions around how much Rodgers plans to use him.

- Will Liverpool look to cash in on him whilst he's still in contract/worth anything.

On saying that, I'm not holding my breath.

It's now looking very unlikely in my opinion, but would still love to see it happen as I think he'd be a great role model for some of our younger players as well as still being able to bring a game changing impact to some of our games

Looks like typical negotiating games. Why can't they keep the negotiating behind closed doors where it belongs instead of dragging it around the public domain?

It could be but I think the only way Bellamy is coming here is if he sees a route into management when he finishes as part of the deal as we couldn't afford the 'final pay packet' he'd be looking for and could get elsewhere. I'd not be too unhappy about that as I think he'd be brilliant with the younger kids - whether he'd last long as a manager I'm not sure, though I think he's more than intelligent enough to do that part.

Could be a number of things, in my opinion, on the occasions I saw them play on TV (and the once live at Wembley Sad ) Bellamy looked like one of, if not the best player at Liverpool so would think Rogers will want to keep a hold of him.

However, I think if Craig wants to come to Cardiff, he is available for a reasonable price and we can put something financially worthwhile him coming (not more than he is on but enough that he feels is adequate for his final playing years) then there still may be a chance.

Also depends on the budget available to Rogers and who he brings in.

If Bellers comes back to Cardiff he would easily be the best player in the Championship and would be a huge asset used correctly.
