Blackburn Rovers sign Portuguese striker Nuno Gomes Blackburn Rovers have signed Portuguese striker Nuno Gomes on a two-year deal.Gomes, 35, scored 29 goals in 79 appearances for his country, including the winner when Portugal beat England in the group phase of Euro 2000.

Scottish Football League clubs will vote whether to accept Rangers at a meeting on 13 July.SFL chief executive David Longmuir confirmed the date after a board gathering at Hampden on Thursday. "At this point, no decision has been taken by the board of the SFL or by any of our clubs," said Longmuir
and has been the case for a while, sod all news on the city front.
