This isn't going to go away. VT has instructed lawyers today to examine the Cornelius transfer in "micro-detail"

There's me thinking we could have a good season without Tan stealing the spotlight again. Can't say I haven't seen this coming with the step up in mentions of Malky the last few weeks. He sure does have good timing.

Whilst that transfer was always "dodgy" seems as though tan is trying to find something that maybe isn't there... maybe

......and so do cover-ups. The fact that it's "football" doesn't make it right. Tan's no fool and can smell a dodgy deal. Personally, I believe that Malky was naive and influenced.

MM played a huge part in recent history and the fact that he and it is still being spoken about is a testament to what he achieved, the style was more industrious than artistic, but it got us to the PL and therefor is justified I think. As @TDA says, maybe then was the time to change tact and look for a manager with PL experience, but who knows how that would have turned out. The Cornelius deal does look incredibly mis managed but the fact that VT is still gunning for MM would suggest to me that there is more to this than just the deal, it smacks of something a bit more personal. Just a pity that it's all being played out in public,

No chance for me. For the past three years now he's been bringing it up on a regular basis, seemingly with new info. It is not that far-fetched that we paid £8m odd for a European striker. That summer alone other teams of a similar stature did likewise. Delia Smith probably cannot even remember Ricky van Wolfswinkel!

That'd be all the pre-game vin de rouge she quaffs, I'm guessing.
