Not sure if we should keep all of the rumours in one place? I notice that WoL are adding Greg Cunningham, the Preston left back, to the list of City targets alongside Neil Etheridge and Lee Camp. Bit surprising unless Warnock is going to sell Bennett and make some money.

I think our manager may see Bennett as a wide midfield option. He certainly has looked good on the front foot as the season has gone on and got himself amongst the goals with some smart finishes. If we presume that Declan John will go, then maybe more defensive cover is needed.

I'm sure it has been mentioned ad nauseam but I'd love to see Idris Saadi given another shot. He's the right level of physicality to cope with British football, he is banging the goals in and wouldn't cost the club any money

Agreed, has to be worth a punt as a squad player at least until the January window.

Thinking about it I would like Matt Kennedy to have a go in the team as well, I really like him and he did some damage when he went out on loan. I still think Huws could do a job for us but I think Warnock has made his mind up on him

That's right, but I think he was injured ...knee perhaps....and that prevented him moving anywhere?

There's a few mentions on twitter of City enquiring about Motherwell defender Ben Heneghan. Don't know much about him but he was an Everton youth player, only 23 and 6'3"

Yes, saw something about this a week or so back. It's strange that the more solid rumours are linking us with defensive players, which are not what we need.
