Big changes from Neil Warnock as he is obviously resting some players and assessing his squad for next season.


McGregor (GK), John, Bamba (c), Connolly, Ecuele Manga, Bennett, Gunnarsson, Halford, Noone, Pilkington, Zohore.

Subs: Murphy (GK), Morrison, Richards, Whittingham, Ralls, Harris, Hoilett.


Two left backs selected in John & Bennett, so I guess that one of them will be playing further forward.  Bamba and Manga together at the back.  I hope NW sees enough to keep Manga for next season, as I have little confidence in Morrison's abilities as a defender.

Not sure that Gunnarsson and Halford are a good pairing in the middle.  I did wonder whether Gunnarsson might get a rest this evening.  Having picked him he would have been my captain, but Bamba for next season would be a good alternative.

Not expecting much, but I hope for a 1 - 1

Good quote from Warnock on Bamba's injury, along the lines of. 'You never know with him - he could be back on Saturday or out for the season. He always goes down like he's broken his leg!"
