What I find encouraging is that the youngsters appear to be finding homes with decent clubs, rather than just being paid up and abandoned.

Theo Warton is reportedly close to joining Coventry City, who are now managed by.... good 'ol Russell Slade.
There is definitely an irony there, in that Slade wanted nothing to do with the youngsters when he was here.

Deadline Day and maybe one or other of the wingers being kicked around will come in. Can't see either as anything but short term padding to the squad. We could really have done with Craig Conway this season.......

One of the (many) unsung heroes of our play-off campaign.
Hayes looks like the only possibly arrival today. Aberdeen appear to be holding out for £1m, which is a little high for a 30-year-old SPL player.

Not all that bothered about the lack of arrivals - it was always about offloading.
That said, so many gems went to teams around us: Matty Taylor (Wurzels), Omar Bogle (Weegan), Zach Clough (Forest).

I agree. There is little value to be had in the January window. Players like Zohore, Kadeem and Healey can be seen to be improving with game time and good man management, so there is little point in spending for the sake of it.
