Great player for City, but so unfortunate with injuries. City knew that when they bought him, but we got five full-blooded, whole-hearted seasons when he was fit to play.

His distribution from defence may have been limited, but otherwise a great Championship level defender, who actually did more than okay in the Premier League.

Sad to see him go. Provided one of mine, and I'm sure many others', favourite moments as a City fan - that goal at Wembley.

Can only assume this means Manga is staying? Otherwise we'll be going into the season a little light at the back, unless youth is promoted.

Yeah, sad to hear this as well as the departure of Mason in the winter just purely for the memories they gave us in the cup final. I hope we won't come to regret it.

Seems a pity in view of the fact that he wants to stay and would be prepared to negotiate.
Also, let's not forget that Filip Kiss played in the League Cup final and was a popular player in his early days with the club. I blame Slumdog's Son for discontinuing the 'Fist Kiss' campaign.

Yes, I remember Jnr also being a real fan of Filip Kiss.

Not sure what happened with the player. He was a bit hot headed, but I seem to remember his getting quite a bad injury that kept him out for a while and he never got a real chance after that. I think he got pulled off at half time in his comeback game and never got another look in.
