Exactly - run properly we could clear the clubs debt within five years of premier league football. But Tan appears to of given that all up entirely.

That's a cheeky one TDA, just look back a couple of years and think what VT did for this club, whilst paying creditors, to keep the club from humiliating administration. He is doing now what Jordan did after CPFC 2010 was formed, cutting costs to meet a budget, so maybe City can achieve a similar outcome without 'THE ADMINISTRATION' and paying creditors 1.95p for every pound owed.
• Crystal Palace FC: Went into administration in 2010. The football creditors were paid in full while the unsecured creditors received 1.95p in the pound.
Blame the people who wasted Tan's investment. Three names come to mind Milky, Moody and OGS, other than that City's debt has been accumulated over years. It's not so long ago that people like myself were offered a five year price freeze deal on season tickets, thinking the money was to be spent on players for a promotion push, only to find that the money was needed and used to pay off some of our Inland Revenue Debts. VT inherited debts with his takeover of the club, and by all accounts any debt remains with him until he chooses to turn them into equity, or otherwise. The club in the shape of VT now owns the CCS, having paid off creditors, so you can now add that to VT's investment as well, or include it as further debt if you so wish. You can't have things both ways, spending more and more money and taking on further debt or cutting costs to prevent that happening. The history of this club is littered with cashflow problems and debt, brought about by mismanagement and pie in the sky, unachievable, promises, just look back over a few year before VT took over and think of the players who left the club just to keep it afloat. I'd prefer VT to take e drastic action now rather than see the club go into free fall whilst still accumulating debts and cease to exist. But then I'm just an old fashioned City supporter who has experienced the sometimes good but more often bad times and still remained faithful. Believe me things could be a lot worse.
