Transfer window opening and I've heard a few about us as follows -
Chelsea striker Islam Feruz on loan (currently playing in Crete).
Millwall defender Scott Malone.
Shrewsbury & Wales U21 striker Tom Bradshaw.
Chesterfield striker Eoin Doyle and Dean Cox of course.
Don't appear to be any central midfielders there!
Whoever arrives, I love the silly season.

I love it too!
I personally think we need to overhaul most of the middle. I would keep Noone and would like to see more of Adeyemi. The rest could do with being dropped.
In:
A left back
A new 'Gary Medel' type anchor
A creative attacking centre midfield who has pace ( like Ravel Morris only minus the issues and baggage. )
A couple of players on loan to cover for Mason and Pilks
Do we need another forward? My view is that it's very hard to tell since our current crop have to feed off a few scraps offered by the pathetic midfield.
Out from the first team (fringe players are a given):
- Maynard
- Macheda (if we can find a replacement)
- who else?

A new manager and coaching team, perhaps?

Lots of talk this morning that we have bid for Malone. Millwall fans say he's a left back who's good going forward but crap defending - we've got two like that already.
Doesn't look good for Fabio if true.

Dikgacoi was the nearest match for Jordon Mutch, who we are missing dreadfully.
Yep, agree that the key man we need to bring in is a defensive anchorman. Dikagoi was our biggest signing last summer, and he's played next to no football this campaign!

Steven Gerrard anyone? He's declared he doesn't want to play for a team that risks facing off against Liverpool, and we definetely don't have a chance in hell of that happening next season

What? An experienced no-nonsense central midfielder, one of the very best to have played for England......whay should we need him?
Looks like he's off to the States to feather his retirement nest......and why not..

He'd have to be on the bench. Whitts and Gunnar have nailed down the two places available in our hugely successful 4-4-2 system. Perhaps he could play wide?

Might be worth going in for Lampard on loan too, he's been pretty good this season.
Someone really should of thought about building a team around Gerrard and Lampard...
