Reckon he will be in for Mason and maybe one of Turner/Connolly come January.....any others.....Velcro, Kimbo.........
My feeling is that it's too early for him - if he had only been handed a punishment from the FA and he 'served his time' then fair enough, he could get on with football but as it stands, he might be in for a bit of a hard time from both home and away fans and some intense scrutiny from the media.
Also, I doubt Kimbo would play for him again TDA after what he said in his texts

Wigan have a decent enough squad, and I expected Rosler to guide them into the playoffs this season. It will be interesting to see how Malky gets on; I can see him taking them up during his time at the helm.

The appointment seems to be coming under scrutiny from various pressure groups and, although Dave Whelan has backed Malky at the press conference, I do wonder how far this might go.
As an aside, I reckon Malky has lost about 2 stones in weight.........
The official FA response on the matter...

i.e. They have no official response right now but please come back later

I see that David Kerslake has been appointed as first team coach. I wonder if he has had a "WTF moment" today.........

He'll be back on "media duties" before he knows it
