Good luck to him as he got a raw deal at Man Utd. He inhertied a shed load of problems more than was appreciated outside the club. Now we see LvG showing how difficult it is to follow Fergie.

Yes, decent manager. Though, I don't think he is as good as some. Martinez is doing just a good a job at Everton as Moyes did. Still, hope he is a success out there.

Martinez is another quality manager, but, at Everton, I think he has also benefited from the 10 years that Moyes put in before him.........in much the same way that Brendon Rodgers did from Matinez's groundwork at Swansea.

Yup, Martinez is very good at stabilising clubs, making the most of his resources and bringing in an ethos. I'd be interested to see if he can take Everton to the next level though and by that, I mean, a strong, competitive and regular contender for the Europa League. Something that Atletico Madrid did previously and maybe Spurs should consider for a season or two as well.

Moyes has landed on his feet there if you ask me as they are a club with a decent setup who are currently under performing. In their current state, a top ten finish would be seen as a solid start and given the squad they've got that's more than possible.
