First topic message reminder :

When David Kerslake took over after Malky's departure, City produced arguably their best performance of last season at Arsenal.  They were unlucky to lose, but if the spirit and resolve shown that day can be repeated at Derby tomorrow, then we might well get something from the game.

It will be interesting to see where Gabbidon & Young view the strengths of the squad and the balance of Malky & Ole players they come up with.  Maybe something like this....... **Official Pre-Match Thread - Derby v City** - Page 6 4228682415

Marshall

Brayford  Manga  Connolly  John

Daelhi  Digkacoi  Adeyemi  Noone (Pilkington if not fit)

Guerra  Le Fondre

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen such a one sided game tbh. They should have won by a pretty big margin.

Now I've seen the highlights, Ralls was to blame for both goals. Beaten far too easily on his side to lead into an easy cross, and beaten again in the lead up to the second. Brayford was also beaten in the lead up to the second, but the fact he had to pop up in the left back spot showed just how out of position Ralls found himself.

I think we lost the three points purely because they decided to test him in a new position - we should have stuck with John.

That may be, but the possession stats are pretty damning, although shot count was closer than you might think.
