Remember we were all bemused why Leon Barnett wasn't offered a permenant contract for this season? He might well of just gotten Wigan knocked out of the playoffs. On as a substitute late in the match he completely fell asleep and let Charlie Austin ghost past him to make it 2-1 in extra time.

Also on the topic, did we really reject Charlie Austin because apparently his vision wasn't perfect in a medical? He has now scored 21 goals this season for QPR and that's including a lengthy absence with a shoulder injury. Who knows what difference a striker his calibre could of made.

Final note, Joey Barton is an excellent footballer when his head is in it. He's been instrumental in everything good QPR has done in both attack and defence and has the composure on the ball of a true top flight player. Real shame he seems determined to ruin his career by being a complete d*ckhead at every opportunity. He said in an interview before the match it's too hard for players as old as himself to be playing two games a week. He's only 31.

And the playoff final is between a very very good Derby side and a QPR side full of stars.

Derby county are favourites, which must sting for John Brayford.

Yup, watched the game and agree with you on everything.

Extra time was pretty dull until that last two minutes - brilliant stuff!

Interesting play off final ahead of us now.

If QPR win, we will have to face a very tough derby team next season.

If Derby win, I can't imagine QPR will be able to financially support a squad like theirs for another season surely?

Here's to hoping for a Derby victory!
