Come on guys, we're a new board and we need you guys posting to survive! I had a look at the other Cardiff boards earlier and it's the same old depressing stuff, fans all having a go at each other, names, insults and all the rest. It never used to be like that, messageboards were a laugh and that's what we're trying to get back with this board!

I've been on there (CCMB) a couple of times the last few days, there was a few decent threads about music and then someone put a thread saying 'do you hate the jews' or something like that. The whole re/blue debate is still raging.

Although this board isn't nearly as busy, the posters seem like good people and we have had some good natured banter (ohhh, there's that word).

Come on people, get involved.

That's the thing. Their threads often start off normally and then it's just a matter of time before the debate gets mentioned somehow and then the inevitable abuse gets going.

I'm sure there's people who like to get stuck into threads like that but after weeks and weeks of it I found myself not wanting to go on there anymore.

I doubt I would have been interested in a 'nice' board before but now it's become a place I like to spend my spare time on and we seem to have attracted the posters that I liked to talk to before.

The intelligent and funny posters seem to like it here which is pleasing, it just would be good to see this board really kick in.

All in good time Mr Colonel, all in good time. We are in the off-season and on some serious "summer" downtime too - a particularly difficult period to start up a football forum (even with the Euros on).

This messageboard has got a top keeper and has started with a solid back four. The foundations are in place. Once the transfer window opens we'll get some pace in the squad before filling up on bench warmers in time for the new season. Naturally, those with discipline issues will be shown the door to the Millwall/Leeds forums, but fear not, if we build it they will come.
