I think I paid like 32 quid an hour, I got ten hours as a birthday present but then just stuck with the same instructor even though it was more expensive. He was a sexist who would come out with phrases like 'watch out as there's a woman in front, god knows what she'll do next' but nice enough if you ignored that occasional slip

I think that I paid £4 per hour, but that included the wages for the man walking in front with a red flag..............

I have just completed a bit of research tda and the red flag law was introduced in 1865..
Apparently £4 in 1865 would be £34 in today's money! So not cheap then Tda
