I think Swansea were given too much respect by our selection. He tried to field a team that would "out-Swansea" Swansea, but our lads aren't that good...................

Awful , absolutely awful. OGS should hang his head in shame and Tan should begin worrying that maybe he was too harsh on Malky.
Think about it from a tactical perspective - we all know Swansea are going to play the possession game with a slow build up, there were zero surprises. Inevitably, away from home against that sort of team you end up resorting to counter attacking. What do we get? Our two best outfield players on the bench and an attacking lineup devoid of all pace bar Zaha.
Worse, when we go one goal down and we need something to happen in the final third, what does he do? Replace the right back. Stunningly awful selection, stunningly awful substitutions.
And I'll say this - if he made the choices today based on resting players for a 'more important' match on Tuesday, I want his resignation. The fans deserve more.

No I don't think he picked his strongest team and I'm even more gutted to even consider that he was keeping his best team for Tuesday..I'm sure on his press conferences he kept stating that this was a big game for the fans...Even less impressed now

Definitely not the game to rotate players, especially out 2 stand out players this season in Mutch and Noone. Could have, should have done that against Brighton.

Tan should be worrying that he was too harsh on Malky? Can't see that happening!
It's difficult to play our way out of the bottom three because the team had spent 18 months playing defensive football. Then OGS arrives and has to alter it as he knows that you don't survive in the Prem if you don't score goals. Unfortunately the confidence most of our players have is already shot meaning goals are harder to come by and some of our players aren't technically good enough to play a continental style of football, hence the reversion at times to 'hoofball'.
I hope OGS is not under pressure because if we go down he can't be blamed. Much of the damage was already done. And realistically, as Arkay predicted, was it likely we could win yesterday? No. Swansea are a much better team on paper galvanised by a new manager and playing at home.

The change of manager was needed. It should have been done earlier, but nothing could have been changed until the Jan transfer window anyway.
We have seen that the original squad under OGS are still ineffective, but the new players should improve things, given time, which we don't have.
I fear, unless other teams around us implode, then we will be struggling to stay up.

West Brom and Fulham are gone, it's a question of us getting some decent results and one other team falling away. A lot of pundits think Norwich could go down so hopefully their results worsen although the Man City draw didn't do us favours

We weren't outplayed, we gave up. If we were outplayed by a better side then I wouldn't mind, but Swansea were poor. It took a mistake for them to break our lines and then they rode the emotion of the fans while we lay down, showing no urgency in pressing the ball or moving it forward beyond the centre third. Case in point was when Campbell beat two markers to get on the end of a long ball into the left corner of the pitch. The only player that could be arsed to run and help him out? Zaha, who isn't even a Cardiff player.
The Malky comment was spoken in anger and not really meant to be taken all that seriously. But while it's on my mind, the football may of been uglier, but every single player on the pitch worked themselves into the ground when we played Swansea under Malky. The discipline was top quality, and it's completely vanished under OGS. The chance of manager was needed, I know that all too well, but I'm beginning to think I made a mistake championing a manager with such little experience.

We caught Swansea on a downward spiral last time around. They have a couple of players that you could argue are worth £20m in Bony, Michu and Vorm whereas we can't say the same thing. They are a team who should be scraping into the European places every season and the result was probably an accurate reflection of the gulf in ability, if not the performances over the two matches this season.
