I reckon the weather is going to be a major factor on Saturday with storm-force winds expected. I am therefore predicting a David Marshall hat-trick in a 0 - 3 win for City.
Subs: Lewis, KTC, Turner, Whitts, Daelhi, Gunnarsson, Campbell
Marshall
Fabio Caulker Cala John
Medel
Noone Mutch Zaha
Bellamy
Jones

I hope we do go with the above line-up and take the game to them. The Jacks could be morally galvanised by Laudrup's removal, but I expect them to be a bit tactically naive and the question remains whether players like Chico Flores will want to play for a guy he almost knocked unconscious with a brick a month ago. A draw

3-1 City, I would quite happily go with your line up TDA
How many times has this happened to us this season? We're playing another team at exactly the wrong time - just after their manager has been given the boot.
Prior to that, I would've put money on us winning. Sadly, I think Swansea will be more up for this than before - think they'll win.

I think one of the few games that City have played this season where they showed no fear of the opposition was the home game against Swansea.
Although the commentators are saying that the win over Norwich was lucky, I feel it was a step in the right direction. Three new players, not fully match fit thrown in at the deep end. The new formation with Bellamy buzzing aroung behind the front man was effective. That could equally be Campbell, or even Daelhi later in games.
The run of defeats has been ended, which is psychologically important, as was winning after conceding an early goal.
Yes, it was a jittery performance against Norwich, but I feel that a corner has been turned and the match against Swansea has come along at exactly the right time for us.
The new shape squad has had another week together and I am pretty sure we will ask a few questions of the JBs on Saturday.
Feeling confident, but not a clue what the score might be......

I do think Arkay could be right...this could be like the West Ham match and their bad run ends against us. It has to end sometime...
Sorry fellas. I always like to be optimistic for City but last few weeks, I've definitely felt differently about our predicament. Contrary to TDA, I feel this game has come at exactly the WRONG time for us. Partly because of the reasons mentioned above but also because if we do lose, it could be a hammer blow to the confidence after just getting some back.
Saying that, a win could do feckin' wonders...

Agree with TDA's formation. In every other match id favour Campbell over Bellamy in the same position, because I think he's a lot fitter, a lot younger and a lot better in front of goal - it was great to see Bellamy score last week, but he did his very best attempt at missing it with an awful scuff.
But against Swansea, Bellamy will be dying to make an impact. Passion could make all the difference.

Derby day!
Did you know the last time this fixture was won by more than a one goal margin was 1996?
Time to change that I reckon...

Just listened to Talkshit on the way to work...Andy Legg was interviewed and he said that Kenwyne Jones wants to play well and score goals for Cardiff to prove a point, and when Jones is hungry, he's impossible to play against. Leg and the co-presenters also said that the front pairing of Bellamy playing behind Jones, coupled with No one and Zaha, is extremely hard to defend against. They all agreed on a narrow Cardiff win...tempting date or accurate prediction?!

Of course I meant tempting FATE, not date! Damn iPhone. I also wonder if the abuse Jones has had on twitter from Stoke fans, which has been significant, will really fire him up
