I thought that clubs were allowed to be given cash injections of up to £90m from benefactors?

Once Tan converts his investment to equity, that should satisfy the rules.

Hopefully it talks him into finally cashing in his promise. Saying that it's unlikely, banning City from European competition for a couple of years isn't exactly going to bother us that much is it?
