At it again with their headlines of a twisted nature on Collymore. I don't condone what Stan did but he was dealt with by the judicial system at the time and to continue to use such as a weapon against him and to demonise him is ridiculous. Ive never seen the bloke try to justify his actions either.

He was right to stand up against obvious vile racists hidden online and he was right to go public. After all, its clearly an issue that needs to be brought up and discussed. Its disgusting that people are being abused and targeted by sets of trolls intent on hurting people with such vile words. It should not be accepted.

Yet The Sun have now targeted Collymore and brought up his past misdemeanours and of course the issue of racism online and in football becomes secondary as he now has to respond to these cleverly worded headlines obviously set out to ruin Stan's argument or persona. Its disgusting but shows the influence the media have.

I hate the media and everything it stands for. I honestly do.

Without the media, we wouldn't be able to follow Cardiff's away games without physically going. You'd be lucky to know what's going on in your own city, yet alone the other side of the world. To hate all media based on the dirty laundry that is the Sun and other tabloids is pretty fickle.

Collymore is a wife beater that is using racism against him as a publicity stunt. Yes it's disgusting, but he's milking it for EVERYTHING he can.

I agree with all of that Red (did I just say that!). I think it was Gary Lineker who suggested he simply blocked the senders and stopped giving them (and him) the oxygen of publicity by retweeting the crap he was being sent.
